Her Story

La Jolla Stone Etching was founded in 2003 by Tara Tarrant, a San Diego artist and sandblaster with a gift for turning stone, glass, and flagstone into something lasting. Over two decades, she has earned the trust of top universities, real estate developers, landscapers, and city projects across the country, bringing the same personal attention to a custom address stone as to a full donor recognition wall.

Every piece is hand-selected and etched locally. She works closely with you on layout and design, and will bring that same care whether you need a single closing gift or a large commercial installation. If you can imagine it, she can design and etch it.
